1       Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest

1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting.

 

2       Inquiry into the sustainability of the health and social care workforce - evidence session with The Health Foundation

2.1 The Committee took evidence from The Health Foundation.

 

3       Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting

3.1 The Committee agreed the motion.

 

4       Inquiry into the sustainability of the health and social care workforce - consideration of evidence heard under item 2, and consideration of responses to the Committee's consultation

4.1 The Committee considered the evidence heard from The Health Foundation and considered the written responses to the public consultation. The Committee agreed that a summary of those responses would be published in due course.

 

5       Public Health (Wales) Bill - consideration of approach to Stage 1 scrutiny

5.1 The Committee agreed its approach to scrutiny of the Public Health (Wales) Bill and agreed to launch a call for evidence later in the week. The Committee also agreed to invite relevant stakeholders to provide evidence to the Committee at meetings later in the term.
